Scheduling is one of LinkySend's most powerful features, allowing you to plan your entire content calendar in advance and publish to all your networks automatically at the optimal time. Scheduling lets you queue posts in advance. Features and limits depend on your plan — see the Pricing page: /pricing.

Scheduling a Post

To schedule a post, go through the normal post creation flow in the composer — upload media, write your caption, and select target networks. Instead of clicking "Publish now", click the downward arrow next to it and select "Schedule". A datetime picker will appear. Select your desired date and time, taking into account the time zone shown (you can change your time zone in Settings → Preferences). Click "Confirm schedule" to queue the post.

  1. 1Open the Post Composer and create your post as normal.
  2. 2Click the dropdown arrow next to "Publish now" and select "Schedule".
  3. 3In the datetime picker, select the date and time you want the post to go live.
  4. 4Verify the time zone label is correct (adjust in Settings → Preferences if needed).
  5. 5Click "Confirm schedule" to save.
  6. 6Your post now appears in the Schedule Calendar with a clock icon.

Smart Time Suggestions

LinkySend analyses engagement data across your connected networks to suggest the optimal posting time for maximum reach. When the datetime picker is open, you will see up to three "Smart Time" suggestions highlighted in blue — these are times when your audience is historically most active. Smart Time suggestions are personalised based on your account's actual engagement history and are updated weekly.

Managing Scheduled Posts

All scheduled posts are visible in the Schedule Calendar (accessible from the left sidebar). The monthly view shows coloured dots on each day; the week and day views show posts in time-slot format. Click any post to preview it, edit the caption, change the scheduled time, or delete it. You can also drag and drop posts to different time slots in the week and day views. To bulk-reschedule, select multiple posts using the checkbox on each card and use the "Reschedule selected" action.

What Happens at Publish Time

At the scheduled time, LinkySend's publishing engine automatically sends your post to all selected networks in parallel. You receive a push notification (mobile app) or email notification confirming the publish. If any network fails, you receive an alert with the specific error and a one-click retry option. Your other scheduled posts are never affected by a single network failure.

FAQ

Is scheduling available on every plan?

Scheduling options depend on your plan. See the Pricing page: /pricing for what each plan includes.

How far in advance can I schedule a post?

You can schedule posts well in advance. Limits depend on your plan — see the Pricing page: /pricing. There is no minimum advance notice — you can even schedule a post for 5 minutes from now.

What time zone does LinkySend use for scheduling?

LinkySend uses the time zone set in your account preferences (Settings → Preferences → Time Zone). All times in the calendar and composer display in that time zone. We recommend setting it to your local time zone for clarity.

Can I schedule different times for different networks within one post?

Not within a single post — all selected networks receive the post at the same scheduled time. If you need to stagger publishing times across networks, create separate posts for each network and schedule them individually.
