Connecting each network takes less than 60 seconds and uses the official OAuth protocol — LinkySend never sees or stores your social network passwords. Availability: LinkySend currently connects Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr, Telegram, and Discord. The other networks mentioned in this article are labelled “Coming soon” in the app: check each network’s status before relying on it.

Supported Networks

Each network has its own permissions model, which LinkySend requests on your behalf during the OAuth flow.

How to Connect a Network

The connection process is identical for all supported networks. Navigate to the Connected Accounts section, pick your platform, and you will be securely redirected to that platform's own login page. LinkySend only requests the minimum permissions necessary to publish content on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from either LinkySend or directly within the social network's settings.

  1. 1Log in to your LinkySend account and open the dashboard.
  2. 2Click "Connected Accounts" in the left sidebar (or go to Settings → Connected Accounts).
  3. 3Click the "+ Add account" button and select your social network from the list.
  4. 4A popup or redirect will take you to the platform's official OAuth authorisation page.
  5. 5Log in with your social account credentials and click "Allow" or "Authorise".
  6. 6You are returned to LinkySend — your account appears in the list with a green "Connected" badge.

Connecting Multiple Accounts on the Same Network

LinkySend supports multiple accounts per network. For example, you can connect three different Instagram accounts — a personal profile, a brand account, and a client account — and select which ones to publish to for each post. To add a second account on the same network, simply click "+ Add account" again and log in with different credentials during the OAuth flow.

Security and Permissions

LinkySend uses OAuth 2.0 for all network connections. Your social network passwords are never transmitted to or stored by LinkySend. The access tokens we receive are encrypted at rest using AES-256. You can disconnect any account at any time by clicking the trash icon next to it in Connected Accounts. Revoking access in LinkySend also removes the token from our servers immediately.

FAQ

Does LinkySend store my social network passwords?

Never. LinkySend uses the official OAuth protocol for all connections. You log in directly on each platform's own website, and only an encrypted access token is sent to LinkySend. Your passwords are never seen or stored.

How many social accounts can I connect?

The number of connected social accounts depends on your plan: Starter 5, Solo 10, Team 20 and Agency unlimited social accounts. Check the Pricing page for the exact limits per plan.

What should I do if a connection fails?

First, make sure you are logged in to the correct social account in your browser before starting the OAuth flow. If the problem persists, try disconnecting any existing connection for that network and reconnecting. See our Troubleshoot Connection Errors guide for more help.

Can I connect a Facebook Group, not just a Page?

No. LinkySend works with the Facebook Pages that you manage. Facebook Groups and personal profiles cannot be connected.
