Publishing to 5 social networks at once with LinkySend takes only a few clicks. Once you have connected at least one social account, you can create a post, upload media, write a caption, choose your target networks, and hit publish — all from a single composer window. This guide covers every step of your first publish. Availability: LinkySend currently connects Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr, Telegram, and Discord. The other networks mentioned in this article are labelled “Coming soon” in the app: check each network’s status before relying on it.

Opening the Post Composer

The Post Composer is LinkySend's central creation interface. You can open it in three ways: click the blue "New Post" button in the top-right corner of the dashboard, press the keyboard shortcut N from anywhere in the app, or drag a file directly onto the dashboard to auto-open the composer with that file already attached.

  1. 1Log in to your LinkySend dashboard.
  2. 2Click the "New Post" button in the top-right corner, or press N on your keyboard.
  3. 3The Post Composer opens as a full-screen overlay.

Uploading Your Media

LinkySend supports images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP) and videos (MP4, MOV, AVI) up to 4 GB. Drag your file into the upload zone or click "Browse files" to open your file picker. LinkySend automatically analyses the file and flags any format or size issues for each target network — for example, if your video exceeds TikTok's 10-minute limit, you will see a warning badge on the TikTok chip before publishing. You can upload up to 10 images for carousel posts.

  1. 1Drag your image or video file into the media upload zone.
  2. 2Alternatively, click "Browse files" and select your file.
  3. 3Wait for the upload progress bar to complete.
  4. 4Review any format warnings shown for specific networks.

Writing Your Caption

The caption editor supports full Unicode, hashtags, mentions, and emoji. You can write a single caption that applies to all networks, or click "Customise per network" to write tailored captions for each platform — useful since Twitter has a 280-character limit while LinkedIn allows up to 3,000 characters. The character counter updates in real time per platform. To save time, click "Generate with AI" to have LinkySend's AI Caption Generator produce optimised caption suggestions based on your media and target networks.

Selecting Target Networks and Publishing

Below the caption, you will see chips representing each of your connected social accounts. Toggle them on or off to include or exclude them from this post. At least one must be selected. When you are ready, click "Publish now" to post immediately — LinkySend distributes your content to all selected networks in parallel, typically completing within 10 seconds. Alternatively, click "Schedule" to choose a specific date and time (scheduling options depend on your plan — see the Pricing page: /pricing).

  1. 1Review the network chips and toggle on the accounts you want to publish to.
  2. 2Optionally, enable "Customise per network" to write platform-specific captions.
  3. 3Click "Publish now" to post immediately, or "Schedule" to set a future time.
  4. 4Watch the publish progress indicator — each network turns green as it succeeds.
  5. 5You will receive a confirmation notification with a link to view the live post.

FAQ

Can I publish different captions to different networks?

Yes. In the Post Composer, enable the "Customise per network" toggle. A tab will appear for each selected network, allowing you to write a completely different caption for each one while using the same media file.

What happens if publishing fails on one network?

LinkySend publishes to each network independently. If one network fails (e.g., due to a temporary API outage), your post still goes live on all other selected networks. You will see an error badge on the failed network and can retry that specific network from your Posts history.

Are there limits on the Free plan?

The Free plan lets you publish on your connected networks with 1 workspace, limited AI captions, and a LinkySend watermark on your posts. Features and limits depend on your plan — see the Pricing page: /pricing.

Can I edit a post after it has been published?

LinkySend cannot edit content that has already been published to social networks (as most platforms do not allow third-party editing after the fact). However, you can duplicate a published post from your Posts history, make changes, and republish.
