Your payment security is a top priority at LinkySend. We use Stripe — one of the world's leading payment processors — to handle all transactions. This means your card data is never stored on LinkySend servers and every transaction benefits from Stripe's industry-leading security infrastructure.

PCI DSS compliance

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a set of security standards designed to ensure that companies handling card payments do so safely. LinkySend's payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which holds PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the highest level available. This certification covers all major card brands: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others.

How your card data is protected

When you enter your card details on a LinkySend checkout page, here is what happens behind the scenes to keep your data safe.

  1. 1Your card number, CVV, and expiry date are entered directly into a Stripe-hosted secure form embedded in the LinkySend page.
  2. 2Stripe immediately tokenizes your card data — replacing it with a unique, non-reversible token.
  3. 3Only the token is sent to LinkySend servers. LinkySend never receives or stores your raw card number.
  4. 4All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
  5. 5Stripe stores your payment information in encrypted vaults with physical and logical access controls.

Fraud detection and protection

Stripe's Radar fraud detection system monitors every transaction in real time. Stripe uses machine learning to identify and block fraudulent charges before they occur. If an unusual charge is detected on your account, you will be notified by email immediately.

Secure checkout (HTTPS)

Every page on the LinkySend platform, including checkout and the dashboard, is served over HTTPS with valid SSL/TLS certificates. All communication between your browser and LinkySend servers is encrypted. You can verify this by checking for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

What LinkySend stores about your billing

LinkySend stores only the information necessary to manage your subscription.

  1. 1Your billing email address.
  2. 2The last 4 digits of your card and the card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) — for display purposes only.
  3. 3Your billing address (if provided for invoices).
  4. 4Payment history (amount, date, invoice number).
  5. 5Your Stripe customer ID (an internal reference — not a card number).

FAQ

Is LinkySend PCI DSS compliant?

Yes. LinkySend processes all payments through Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. This is the highest level of payment security certification and covers all major credit cards. LinkySend itself never stores raw card data and is therefore not in scope for PCI DSS compliance independently.

Can I trust the LinkySend checkout page?

Yes. The checkout is powered by Stripe.js, which loads a secure Stripe-hosted form directly in your browser. This means your card details are sent directly to Stripe's servers — never to LinkySend. Always verify the HTTPS padlock in your browser before entering payment details on any website.

What should I do if I see an unrecognized charge?

If you see a charge from LinkySend that you do not recognize, first check your billing history in Dashboard > Subscription > Billing History. If the charge is not listed or you believe it is fraudulent, contact support@linkysend.com immediately. We will investigate within 1 business day and tell you what we find. You should also contact your bank or card issuer to report any suspected fraudulent activity.

Does LinkySend share my payment data with third parties?

No. LinkySend does not sell or share your payment data with third parties. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. LinkySend's use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy at linkysend.com/privacy.

How is my account protected from unauthorized access?

LinkySend accounts are protected by password hashing (bcrypt), optional two-factor authentication (2FA), and session management with automatic timeouts. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA in Dashboard > Settings > Security for an additional layer of protection.
